Cortez Beach

Located south of State Highway 684 - Cortez Rd. on South Gulf Drive. There is plenty of parking; and public transportation is available up and down South Gulf Drive. Cortez Beach offers the simple pleasures of the Gulf waters, surf and sand, and dunes. No lifeguards on this beach. The beach is a designated surfing area.

The public beach features a large picnic area, beach volleyball nets, a playground area, restrooms and a gift shop. Also there you will find, Cafe on the Beach, a walk-up restaurant with outdoor seating and views of the Gulf of Mexico. Public parking is available.

Coquina Beach and Gulfside Park is located on the south end of Anna Maria Island west of Bradenton. The Beach and Park offer acres of free parking and miles of beach access. The park has many amenities to make  your beach outing fun and enjoyable. You will find: free parking, rest rooms, outdoor showers, concessions, picnic tables, grills, benches, trash receptacles. Trolley stops along the beach offer public transportation and access to the shops and stops up and down the beach.

Siesta Key Public Beach

2011's Number One Beach in the USA! Siesta Key Public Beach has received numerous awards for its cool white sand and clear subtropical waters on the Gulf of Mexico. The white sand is pure quartz, remarkable for its cool feel even in the midday sun. Siesta Beach is family friendly with lifeguards, public restrooms, concessions, and free parking. The 800 car lot is often full, so be prepared to come early.
